Our Story
The very foundations of The Granny Flat Foundation can be traced back to the values that have guided us from a young age—values that inspired us to seek purpose in our work and create a meaningful legacy.
On our journey, we have been fortunate to meet incredible people, volunteer with charities supporting the homeless, and form lifelong friendships across all walks of life.

When the COVID pandemic disrupted daily life, it gave us a rare opportunity to pause and reflect on our personal and professional journeys. We realized how fortunate we were—to have built businesses, to be surrounded by a strong network of family and friends, and to be in a position to make a difference.
While providing housing solutions and employment had always been a part of what we did, we wanted to do more. We wanted to use our skills, resources, and network to create a lasting impact.

That realisation led to the founding of The Granny Flat Foundation in 2022.
Making A Difference
What makes The Foundation unique is that we do not support a single cause or compete with other charities. Instead, our mission is to raise funds through various channels and collaborate with other organizations that provide housing, shelters, support services, and community programs.
Building homes isn’t cheap, and that’s why we rely on generous donations—monetary, material, and construction expertise—to bring our projects to life. Every dollar raised is reinvested into worthwhile causes that directly benefit those in need.
Granny Flat Solutions has built strong relationships with an incredible network of suppliers and tradespeople over the years. Now, we are calling on this network—and the wider community—to help us make a real difference.
