Granny Flat
The Granny Flat Foundation, in partnership with Granny Flat Solutions, is building a two-bedroom Granny Flat for the Hornsby Women’s Shelter.
The Granny Flat will provide additional essential accommodation and support services to women and families facing domestic violence and homelessness. The Women’s Shelter has been at capacity for several years and this Granny Flat will expand the shelter’s capacity to help more women in urgent need within our community.
Construction of the Granny Flat will begin by September 2025 and will be completed by February 2026. A grand opening launch event will be held where all businesses & suppliers that provided sponsorship to this great cause will be recognised.
St Lucy's Tiny Home
Granny Flat Foundation along with Granny Flat Solutions & Tiny Home Solutions are building and donating a Tiny Home to St Lucy’s School for Students with Disabilities, located in Wahroonga.
The Tiny Home will be a valuable addition to the school’s year 12 curriculum, giving students the opportunity to stay in the Tiny Home for 1 week at a time to learn & develop very important independent living skills (with the help of a caregiver) in a custom designed safe environment.
The Tiny Home was delivered to St Lucy’s school in June 2025. A grand opening & program launch event
will be held in August 2025 to celebrate with students, parents and staff members, as well as recognise the businesses & suppliers who contributed to this great cause.
After Dark Golf Day
On Friday 18th October 2024 we held a GFF and After Dark Golf Day to raise funds for the Women’s Shelter and St Lucy’s projects.
We raised over $25,000 thanks to a number of businesses and suppliers who donated and joined in on the day.
Super Tee Tender Initiative
As part of our mission to support children and families facing medical challenges, we’re proud to partner with Supertee — an incredible initiative that provides hospital-friendly superhero garments to young patients across Australia.
Designed to bring both comfort and imagination to the hospital experience, each Supertee allows for easier access to medical lines and equipment, while helping kids feel like the true superheroes they are.
For every tender signed, we donate the value of a medical pack to Supertee, directly supporting their work in hospitals. Beyond our financial contributions, our team also got hands-on in the effort — hosting a Supertee Packing Day on 24th June 2025, where we came together to assemble and prepare superhero tees destined for local children’s wards. It was a powerful reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can help brighten a child's hospital journey.
Kids Play House Hornsby PCYC
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, we were proud to design and build a custom children’s playhouse for the Hornsby PCYC in 2023.
This fun and imaginative space was created to give local kids a safe and engaging environment to play, explore, and connect. By donating our time, materials, and expertise, we aimed to give back to an organisation that does so much for youth development in the area — and to bring a little extra joy to the children who use the centre every day.
Tree Of Hope
